THE MICHAEL BENNIT READER EXPERIENCE

A: The short answer is - I don't know yet. I have gotten multiple questions asking the same thing and wish I could give a better answer. I've been kicking around ideas while developing possible sequels but haven't had anything that really inspires me to continue his journey. I have also toyed with focusing on Chelsea but haven;t come up with a good storyline yet. That's the key - I won't bring them back until I have a story that's fresh and unique. That's increasingly hard to do in this political climate. I have not completely given up on the idea, but nothing is imminent..

A: That must have been an eye-opener for you. I honestly don't remember how I picked that name. I do have reasons for many of them, especially in later books, but I think it was just something I chose at random in this instance. Sometimes I use a name generator, and when something comes up that I like, bingo. Other name choices are more...calculated.

A: I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed Michael Bennit's journey. Kylie ended up having a baby boy and they had twin girls almost three years later. As for additional character updates, I haven't ruled out another series that involves them, so you may find out someday. 🙂

A: Great question! I was a substitute teacher for over two years in New Milford, CT. I got to meet some great kids during my time there, and they loved to find ways to get out of their assigned work. One of the usual approaches was to try to make a bet with me and hope they win. That was the inception of the idea behind their deal with Michael Bennit.
